✨ What Made Them Famous
Dug is the endlessly enthusiastic talking Golden Retriever from Disney and Pixar's Up. Thanks to a special collar that translates his thoughts into speech, Dug instantly reveals exactly what many people imagine their dogs are thinking: affection, excitement, confusion, and sudden obsession with squirrels. His immediate declaration that he loves Carl, combined with his cheerful loyalty to Russell and the group, made him one of Pixar's most memorable animal characters.
⚡ Fast Facts
- Talking Collar Dug's special collar translates his thoughts into spoken human language, allowing everyone around him to hear exactly what he is thinking.
- Squirrel! Dug's tendency to become instantly distracted by squirrels became one of the most quoted jokes from Up.
- Dug Days The character later received his own series of animated shorts, Dug Days, following his adventures after the events of Up.
